If you have to switch On/Off accelerometer sensor, you have to go all the way from Menu>Settings>Phone>Sensor Settings>Sensor On/Off.
Install this app in phone and put a shortcut of it in HS, then just one click is enough to On or Off your accelerometer sensor.

Note: At first use of the program, your accelerometer sensor must be switch On.
